Job description

We provide rewarding and purposeful work.

Why This Role Matters

The Janitor plays a critical role inmaintaininga clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and individuals served by Didlake. This position directly supports daily operations by ensuring all assigned areas meet cleanliness, safety, and quality standards while upholding Didlake's mission and values.

What You Will Do

  • Independently clean restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators, escalators, and other assigned work areas.
  • Sweep floors using brooms and mop floors as needed.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Dust furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash todesignateddisposal areas.
  • Sort and transport recyclable materials todesignatedrecycling areas.
  • Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  • Perform work with attention to quality, detail, and consistency.
  • Maintainappropriate conductand professional demeanorin accordance withDidlake policy.
  • Follow safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Complete andmaintainall required Didlake training.
