A highly regarded national law firm is seeking talented Labor & Employment Attorneys to join its growing practice in San Jose. Due to continued client demand and expansion, the firm has two openings for experienced employment attorneys who are looking to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a broad range of employment law issues.
- Handle employment litigation, including legal research, motion practice, pleadings, and brief writing.
- Draft employment policies, agreements, and workplace documentation.
- Conduct workplace investigations and respond to employee complaints.
- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex labor, employment, and higher education matters.
Qualifications
- Associate: 5โ7 years of employment law experience.
- Counsel: 8+ years of employment law experience.
- Active California Bar admission required.
- Experience advising employers and handling employment litigation.
- Experience investigating or responding to complaints involving workplace harassment or misconduct is highly preferred.
- Prior experience representing or working with higher education institutions (universities, colleges, community colleges, trade schools, or similar organizations) is a plus.
