Job Summary:

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will provide routine permitting and compliance support for Exploration & Production operations. The role collaborates with asset teams, internal departments, and regulatory agencies to gather, validate, organize, and analyze data required for regulatory filings. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and submittal of drilling permits, general permits, and local permits while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The analyst may also use AI-enabled tools and automated workflows to collect information, identify data gaps, improve data quality, monitor/track regulatory requirements, and streamline permit preparation and reporting. In addition, the analyst communicates regulatory updates, addresses routine compliance issues, maintains relationships with regulatory agencies, completes compliance tasks, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Collaborates under direct supervision to provide routine regulatory permitting and compliance support to asset teams, coordinating with internal disciplines and appropriate regulatory agencies including Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC), on the status and accuracy of permits

  • Assists in the coordination, planning, and compilation of information required by regulatory agencies for Exploration & Production

  • Supports Exploration and Production in maintaining compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

  • Contributes to advising and updating Exploration & Production groups on regulatory requirements and compliance issues, facilitating informed decision-making.

  • Provides support for professionals in addressing permitting and compliance issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to regulatory matters.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with regulatory agencies, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

  • Completes routine regulatory compliance tasks and develops skills under direct supervision, supporting change efforts and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develops basic business knowledge, accesses relevant data services, and gains awareness of industry practices, fostering effective working relationships and learning from subject matter experts.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Energy Management or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Regulatory Compliance, or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

  • Advanced capabilities in data management and data analysis, utilization of AI and other internal and external data analytic tools is preferred
