Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Dayspring, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Clinical Intakes and Psychotherapy Sessions, carefully assessing the needs of clients and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations.
  • Upholding licensing requirements and staying updated on best practices in mental health care.
  • Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and support colleagues in their professional development.
  • Engaging in weekly supervision to refine your therapeutic skills and address any challenges encountered in practice.
  • Effectively communicating with support staff to ensure seamless operational workflows.
  • Contributing to the overall positive energy and collaborative spirit within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a varied client demographic, including individuals aged 9 years through adulthood. You will have the chance to apply therapeutic techniques to assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges, supporting their journey towards improved well-being and resilience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Professional Liability Insurance that meets state requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional counseling experience.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in therapeutic and preventative techniques are highly desirable. We are particularly interested in those who have demonstrated success in working with adolescent and adult populations in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
