Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Dayspring, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Comprehensive Clinical Intakes and Psychotherapy Sessions via teletherapy, effectively assessing and diagnosing clients’ needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation on a daily basis to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhering to state licensing requirements to ensure that all practices meet legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in quarterly team meetings and weekly supervision sessions to discuss clinical progress and team dynamics.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance therapeutic methods and improve counseling skills through shared knowledge and feedback.
  • Effectively communicating with administrative support staff to streamline workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Fostering a positive atmosphere that contributes to team morale and overall company culture.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have experience providing mental health treatment to clients ranging in age from 9 to adulthood. You will be working with diverse populations, addressing various mental health challenges through therapeutic and preventative techniques. Your expertise and approach will empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited program in a related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Ability to maintain Professional Liability Insurance that meets required standards.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with more extensive backgrounds or specialized training will find our organization especially welcoming.
