Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Dayspring, your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting clinical intakes to assess the mental health needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based assessment techniques.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Attending weekly supervision meetings to discuss client cases and enhance counseling techniques.
  • Participating in quarterly team meetings to collaborate with colleagues on best practices and organizational improvements.
  • Communicating effectively with administrative staff to ensure seamless client services and support.
  • Contributing positively to a team-oriented environment that values emotional resilience and commitment to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass individuals aged 9 and above, ensuring a broad spectrum of therapeutic interactions that address the diverse needs of children, adolescents, and adults. You will utilize therapeutic techniques that promote mental health resilience, ensuring each client feels heard, respected, and empowered on their journey to wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Capacity to maintain Professional Liability Insurance coverage.
Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates who have at least two years of direct clinical experience working in mental health settings. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to professional growth and development are highly desirable. A preference will be given to counselors experienced in handling a diverse range of mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on your licensure and the volume of clients you see.
