Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the presenting issues, history, and goals of clients, painting a comprehensive picture of their mental health needs.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions, offering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, or narrative therapy, based on clients' specific challenges.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans, continuously monitoring client progress and adapting approaches as necessary.
  • Facilitate open communication with clients, involving them in the treatment planning process and fostering a sense of ownership in their healing journey.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards and adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring the privacy and trust of all clients.
  • Dedicate yourself to ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest clinical practices and innovations in the field of social work.
  • Establish a strong therapeutic rapport with clients, utilizing empathy and active listening to build trust and support.
  • Provide practical strategies and support to help clients navigate life's challenges and promote resilience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Mental Daybreak Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. You'll engage with clients from various backgrounds and demographics, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the cultural and personal needs of each client effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in social work theory and practice.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, meeting all regulatory requirements to practice independently.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical environment, with preference given to experience in a private practice setting.
  • Proven clinical skills, particularly in assessment and intervention, along with strong treatment planning capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to cultivate strong therapeutic alliances with clients from varied backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting, is highly desirable. Familiarity with modern therapeutic tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems will be an asset, as it contributes to effective client management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
