Job Description:

GDIT is pursuing the Award of an opportunity to provide engineering support tomaintaincurrent systems. This is a requisition for future job opportunities in the Intelligence Community space to provide engineering support tomaintaincurrent systems. Award is expected in the July/August 2026 timeframe. Consistent with this opportunity, there will be a number of positions on the various teams so please see each listed below.

  • Operations LeadCoordinates support for mission operations. Ensures system uptimes, including analyzing tickets and prioritizing fixes that ensure maintained operations.
  • Infrastructure Engineerssupport operations bymaintainingphysical infrastructure and IaaS services. They install patches, ensure systemsremainin an operational state, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Storage Engineersmaintainthe storage infrastructure, including backing up and restoring data and ensuring storage infrastructure manages tiered movement appropriately.
  • Technicians(Field Engineers)perform technical operations, such as cable routing, electrical configuration, and server room maintenance.
  • AVI EngineersmaintainA/V/I equipment and routing for mission support.
  • Database Administrators (DBA)maintainthe database, including backing up and restoring data, ensuringoptimalindexing, andeliminatingdata fragmentation.
  • Cyber Security Engineer (CSE)monitorsthe security architecture toisolate or remove vulnerabilities, ensure no intrusions, andmaintainconfidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services.The CSE coordinates incident responseactivities, including forensic analysis and reporting.
  • Cyber Security Analyst (CSA)reviews IAVAs,identifiesand assesses risks,andestablishesa patching plan.The CSA performs network monitoringand works with the CSE on incident responses.Theyimplement access controls and providesecurityawareness trainingtothe technical staff.Coordinates with ISSM for A&Arequirements, including coordinating milestones and POAMworkoff

The likely salary range for this position is $169,604 - $229,464. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
