Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Providing individual therapy and family therapy, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, working alongside them to address relational challenges.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to guide therapy sessions and track patient progress.
  • Documenting patient care and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Participating in clinical meetings and case reviews to ensure high-quality care and improve service delivery.
  • Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and referring clients to additional resources as needed.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families who are facing various emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Common issues you will address include:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Trauma and grief
  • Family dynamics, including conflicts between family members and blended family situations
  • Adjustment to major life changes such as separation, divorce, or medical challenges
  • Interpersonal conflicts and communication difficulties
  • Support for individuals dealing with job stress and mental health concerns
Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • A valid and active clinical license (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working in a mental health setting.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Experience working within a community health clinic or with underserved populations.
  • Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
