Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat focused on improving clients’ mental health and cognitive well-being.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to express emotions and share experiences, aiding them in gaining insights into their mental health and relationships.
• Serve as a client advocate, helping to define goals and strategies for effective personal development.
• Evaluate client mental health conditions through interviews and assessments, crafting personalized treatment plans that utilize solution-oriented approaches rooted in clinical expertise.
• Utilize our Top Quality Counselor Dashboard to manage appointments, track client progress, and maintain documentation with minimal administrative burden.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health issues. Each client is pre-screened to ensure they are appropriate matches for remote counseling, thus creating a therapeutic environment where you can effectively apply your skills. You will have the opportunity to tailor your practice to align with your specialties and demographic preferences, enhancing both your job satisfaction and client outcomes.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Additionally:

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice mental health counseling independently, such as
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Note: We do not accept limited or provisional licenses, and candidates should not have any disciplinary actions against their professional credentials.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to make substantive evaluations, professional decisions, and develop strategic treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy toward clients, ensuring effective therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency with digital platforms, enabling effective remote counseling experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, dependent on hours worked.
• Weekly direct deposit, ensuring timely payment for your services.
• Full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their health and wellness needs.
