WE REQUIRE:
  • Must be at least 22 years of age
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable forklift experience
  • Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working in customer-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead, train and develop team members
  • Ability to identify operational issues and implement improvements
  • Strong attention to safety, accuracy and productivity

CPC Logistics is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our operation s in Alsip, IL. This position is responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities while supporting a safe , organized, and efficient operation.
Responsibilities include:
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, inspections and shipping
  • Lead and support warehouse employees through daily operations and operational changes
  • Train and develop team members to ensure proper coverage and understanding of warehouse processes
  • Assign work and manage staffing based on daily operational needs
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy and efficiency of warehouse process
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, inspections, and shipping
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse and dock area
  • Ensure proper storage, handling and movement of inventory
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist with resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain adequate warehouse supplies, including labels, paper, pallets and other materials
  • Ensure employees remain current on required training and operational procedures
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to warehouse operations
  • Work closely with the customer to address operational needs and maintain a strong working relationship
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, safety, and overall efficiency
  • Ensure dock areas are cleared efficiently and maintained in a safe and organized manner
