Allegheny Family Connection Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Plano, Texas. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relational conflicts.
• Lead therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate open communication within families by providing conflict resolution strategies aimed at improving dynamics among family members and siblings.
• Address sensitive issues such as grief and loss, substance abuse, and adjustment to divorce or separation, thereby helping clients navigate through significant life transitions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while using our electronic health records system effectively.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust approaches as necessary, ensuring clients receive the best possible care.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including medical staff and external specialists, to refer clients when additional support is required.

Your work will directly impact a diverse client population, including individuals and families experiencing challenges related to marital conflict, blended family dynamics, and mental health disorders. You will play an instrumental role in empowering clients and guiding them toward healthier lifestyles by helping them develop coping strategies and stronger family bonds.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling with a focus on family systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Experience in a clinical setting focused on family therapy and mental health counseling.
• Familiarity with electronic health record management systems.
• Knowledge of community resources available for family support and mental health services.
