This position is designed for professionals eager to make a tangible difference in the mental health landscape by providing specialized therapeutic support to clients in a school setting. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others and an ability to create fruitful therapeutic relationships that foster healing and progress.

About the Organization

At Navigate Mind-Body Connection Clinic, our mission is to enhance individual well-being through comprehensive mental health services tailored to the needs of our diverse clientele. We focus on understanding the intricate interplay between mental and physical health and promoting holistic methodologies that address emotional, psychological, and social challenges. Our approach is grounded in a commitment to respect, empathy, and confidentiality for every client, making us a trusted partner in their personal growth journey.

Work Environment

This remote role provides flexibility while maintaining a commitment to collaborative care. Our clinicians are equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, while administrative support ensures that you can focus on what matters most—your clients. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer adjustable work hours, including evening and weekend availability, to accommodate the schedules of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs as well as treatment goals, utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Deliver individualized therapy to clients, which may include children, adolescents, and families, employing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness methodologies, and family systems therapy to address a spectrum of mental health issues.
  • Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ needs, involving them in the process to foster commitment and empowerment.
  • Engage in consistent monitoring and evaluation of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set forth by state regulations and licensing boards.
  • Commit to continuous professional development, attending workshops, and staying current with emerging best practices in social work and mental health care.
  • Establish strong therapeutic alliances with clients by creating a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment, facilitating open communication and engagement.
  • Provide practical coping strategies and guidance to assist clients in overcoming life’s challenges, ranging from everyday stressors to complex emotional crises.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse youth population within a school setting, addressing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and interpersonal conflict. As a clinician, you will cater to clients from various backgrounds and experiences, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of San Antonio, Texas. Your work will have a profound impact on the emotional and behavioral functioning of these young individuals, promoting resilience and academic success.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health or clinical setting, ideally within a private practice or school-based environment.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of various therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with the ability to empathize and connect with a diverse clientele.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic context, particularly within school environments.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital intervention tools designed to enhance remote therapy efficacy.
  • Engagement in community outreaches or collaboration with educational staff to promote mental health awareness within schools.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary structure, we offer bonuses based on performance, aligning our success with yours. Comprehensive benefits include:

  • Health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision needs.
  • Retirement plans with employer contribution options to help you secure your financial future.
  • Flexible scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for specialized training and professional development to advance your career.
