Our hybrid approach allows therapists to engage in telemedicine or in-person interactions when necessary. You will work collaboratively with fellow professionals from various disciplines within a supportive community health clinic framework, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to devise tailored therapy plans for individual clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapies, for a diverse client base.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, couple’s counseling, and family therapy aimed at enhancing communication skills and problem-solving.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation to uphold legal and ethical standards while assessing client progress and responding to changing needs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies, sharing insights and developing robust support networks for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and relevant training, ensuring you remain updated with the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Comprehensive Counseling Center, you will serve a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your expertise will directly contribute to their journey toward recovery and self-discovery, helping them to enhance their overall well-being and functionality within their communities.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona is required.
• A minimum of two years’ relevant counseling experience, ideally within clinical settings, is essential.
• Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family systems therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a diverse community health environment or familiarity with integrated care models is favored.

Compensation and Benefits
