Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their unique emotional and psychological needs, ensuring appropriate care plans can be developed.
• Provide individualized and group counseling designed to help clients navigate the emotional complexities associated with aging, including loss and life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create comprehensive care plans, facilitating integrated treatment approaches that enhance client outcomes.
• Offer educational sessions for family members and staff on effective strategies to improve emotional well-being and enrich the quality of life for elderly individuals.
• Deliver grief and loss counseling to clients and their families dealing with end-of-life challenges, providing vital emotional support during difficult times.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
