Job description

Physical Therapist  Position Highlights:

  • Job Type: PRN
  • Location: Community Hospital
  • Position: Open until April 30, 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and directs patient care services to patients of all ages to ensure that patient needs are met.  Services include patient evaluation/ assessment, establishing and implementing a plan of care, assessing effectiveness of and modifying treatment to ensure goal achievement, and educating patients/caregivers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply therapeutic principles and practices based on current evidence and knowledge, appropriate clinical judgment, and patient preference.
  • Produces quality documentation in a timely manner to support provision of care, according to current standards that are based on professional association and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collects and analyzes data from selected outcome measures to monitor patient progress and the benefit of interventions.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency, including budgeting, staffing, billing/coding, and procedural planning tasks. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.  Doctorate’s degree preferred.
  • Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado (required)
  • BLS Certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Compensation:

  • Physical Therapist I-$43.00 - $49.45 per hour, depending on education and experience.
  • Physical Therapist II-$47.00 - $54.05 per hour, depending on education and experience.
  • Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

  • Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505
  • Work Location: In-person/onsite
