Community Hospital is a full-service, acute-care hospital, licensed for 60 beds. We are an independently owned hospital that serves the Grand Valley of Colorado which is the largest metropolitan area between Denver and Salt Lake City. In 2024, Community Hospital earned the prestigious 5-star quality rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and was recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as one of Colorado’s top recommended hospitals. Gynecologic Oncology as part of Grand Valley Oncology has been instrumental in Community Hospital’s unprecedented growth and success over the last decade. Grand Valley Oncology opened in 2014 and is now the premier cancer center on the Western Slope. Grand Valley Oncology proudly partners with University of Utah Health and Huntsman Cancer Institute to offer world class cancer treatment to patients in western Colorado and eastern Utah. We are actively recruiting a medical hematologist/oncologist to join our growing practice.
