Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and a balanced work-life dynamic. The role will require proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate documentation and facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create tailored treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing diverse modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate extensively with multidisciplinary teams, comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health by attending professional development workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed counselor at Community Health Connection, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various life challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. Our focus is on providing personalized care that respects each client’s journey and promotes their mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations affecting counseling practice.
• Demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couple counseling is strongly preferred.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms effectively for client sessions.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and the ability to integrate technology into therapeutic processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your caseload and experience.
