Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate team at Community Health Connection, a reputable community health clinic based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities including:

• Establishing positive, trusting relationships with clients to foster a safe space for therapy.
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with individuals and couples, employing therapeutic techniques that encourage open communication and emotional exploration.
• Conducting ongoing evaluations of patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Referring clients to specialized services or resources (e.g., support groups, psychiatrists) when appropriate to enhance their treatment.
• Documenting all client interactions and maintaining accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.

As an LMFT, your expertise will play a vital role in helping clients navigate these complexities and develop healthier lifestyles. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Training or experience in addiction counseling is required.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices specifically for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate clients towards positive change.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, fostering collaboration within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar healthcare facility.
• A background in group therapy and family systems therapy.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams that focus on integrated care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
