Utility Worker

Location: DeFuniak Springs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Utility Worker to join our team supporting water and wastewater operations. This role is essential for maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient utility services. The Utility Worker will perform a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and wastewater pipelines, valves, hydrants, and related infrastructure.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles required for utility work.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility systems.
  • Respond to service calls, emergencies, and system failures promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support other team members and departments as needed.

Qualifications
