EXPERIENCED FLOOR TECHNICIAN

Clean Team Inc. | Greater Columbus Area

MONDAY-FRIDAY | 4:00 PM-12:00 AM | FULL-TIME

Clean Team Inc. is hiring an experienced Floor Technicians to support our commercial cleaning operations throughout the Greater Columbus area.

These are full-time evening positions for candidates who already have hands-on commercial floor-care experience. We're looking for people who know how to operate professional floor equipment and understand proper techniques for stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining a variety of floor surfaces.

Previous floor-care and floor-equipment experience is required for this position.

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Floor Technician
Location: Greater Columbus Area
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 4:00 PM-12:00 AM
Hours Per Week: Approximately 40
Weekend Availability: Some weekends required
Positions Available: 1

Work Location: Multiple Customer Locations / In-Person

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Floor Technician, you'll be responsible for performing specialized floor-care services at Clean Team customer locations throughout the Columbus market.

This is not an entry-level general cleaning position.

The right candidates will have previous experience operating commercial floor equipment and understand the proper processes required to strip, wax, buff, clean, and maintain commercial flooring.

You'll work independently and with other Clean Team employees while traveling between customer locations as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strip and wax commercial floors

  • Buff and burnish floor surfaces

  • Operate commercial floor-care equipment

  • Perform routine and restorative floor maintenance

  • Prepare floors properly before stripping, waxing, or other treatments

  • Maintain hard-surface flooring according to site requirements

  • Perform additional floor-care services as assigned

  • Inspect equipment before and after use

  • Properly clean and maintain floor-care equipment

  • Safely handle and use floor-care chemicals and supplies

  • Travel between Clean Team customer locations throughout the Columbus market

  • Follow Clean Team safety procedures and quality standards

  • Report equipment, supply, or facility concerns to management

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE amp; QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous professional floor-care experience REQUIRED

  • Previous commercial floor-equipment experience REQUIRED

  • Experience stripping and waxing floors REQUIRED

  • Experience buffing and maintaining commercial flooring REQUIRED

  • Valid driver's license REQUIRED

  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles

  • Dependable and punctual attendance

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

  • Ability to work some weekends as needed

  • Ability to travel between customer locations throughout the Columbus market

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and perform physical floor-care work throughout the shift
