Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in how you manage your work-from-home environment while maintaining a professional approach to client interactions. The remote nature requires proficiency with technology, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, to ensure accurate client tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' psychosocial needs, considering emotional, psychological, and social factors impacting their recovery.
• Collaboratively developing and implementing individualized care plans that align with each client’s treatment goals and aspirations.
• Providing individual and group counseling sessions that facilitate healing, adjustment, and the development of coping strategies for clients and their families.
• Advocating for clients' rights within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support services throughout their detox journey.
• Monitoring clients’ progress through regular check-ins and assessments to identify any emerging needs or challenges during their treatment.
• Educating clients and their families on addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment developments, and progress notes to meet both legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals undergoing detoxification treatment, which often involves varied backgrounds and personal struggles with addiction. As such, you will engage with clients experiencing emotional distress, trauma, and social isolation. Providing empathetic support and facilitating access to community resources will significantly contribute to enhancing their quality of life and recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of practice experience in a social work capacity, preferably within addiction recovery, mental health, or a healthcare setting.
• Strong proficiency in assessment and counseling methodologies related to addiction and mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively.
• Competence in using EHR systems and various digital tools to manage client records.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in detox centers or a similar addiction-focused environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and a broad understanding of community resources available to aid clients are advantageous attributes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
