Job description

Role: Cloud Engineer

Location: Washington, DC (HYBRID)

Responsibilities (At least 5.  Please add more if you have them.)

1. Splunk Dashboard creation and maintenance

2. Performing trend and data analysis on cloud resources, infrastructure, and billing systems

3. Management and oversight for data collection systems, Cloud CLI scripting

4. Management and oversight of the Cloud Billing Dashboard and any subsequent billing systems and APIs from AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud and Google Cloud

Requirements (At least 5.  Please add more if you have them.)

8-10 years of hands-on experience in Wintel Administration.

2. Good understanding of Host-based firewall, Intrusion protection, Data Integrity, and Vulnerability Scanners

3. Knowledge of AWS and Azure security 

4. Knowledge of Chef Inspec / Automate, TrendMicro Deep Security, CyberArk and Tripwire

5. Knowledge of Containers (Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, Docker) 

6. Knowledge of Splunk and ability to create searches, reports and Dashboards.

7. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and under pressure.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 9. Excellent analytical skills.

10. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audience (management, users, vendor, and technical staff)

11. Excellent ability to work in a team environment and across organizational boundaries.

12. Excellent task planning and monitoring skills, including the development of standard operating procedures.
