Job description

Since 1997, Centurion Health has proudly served as the healthcare provider to the Georgia Department of Corrections and partner to West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Centurion is actively recruiting a Primary Care Physician for evenings and weekends.

The after hours on site Primary Care Physician provides after hours medical assessments, evaluations and treatment plans for emergent, chronic and routine medical issues in mentally ill patients. The after hour physician will stay on campus in a dedicated housing unit especially for the physician. The space includes a microwave, bathroom with shower, living room and bed to sleep for those working overnight. 

Schedules: Flexible after hours 7 days per week. Shifts can range from 8 hours to 33 hours. 

Monday-Friday; 7pm-7am

Saturday-Sunday; 7am-5pm; 5pm-12am; 12am-7am
