Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Department: Rapid Access

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: 6:30pm - 6:30am (3 - 12-hour shifts)

Job Summary

Join our compassionate team as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing services in diverse settings, including residential care facilities and outpatient clinics. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of clients dealing with behavioral health and substance use challenges. We are looking for an empathetic and competent professional who excels in delivering high-quality care while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Your clinical expertise will be essential in monitoring and coordinating patient care, while your commitment to education will help empower clients in their recovery journey. In this role, you will assess and evaluate client health needs, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment plans. Your dedication to client care and effective communication will be key in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the clinic while advocating for patient health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform appropriate nursing assessments and evaluate client health conditions based on service requirements.
  • Complete initial medical histories and vital signs, coordinating action plans based on results.
  • Monitor health status and coordinate care with treatment teams as per client needs.
  • Create action plans addressing both physical and mental health treatment needs.
  • Administer and monitor medications according to state and service line standards while educating clients about their benefits.
  • Collaborate with physicians and consult with advanced practice providers for comprehensive client management.
  • Oversee infectious disease control and ensure client hygiene practices are maintained.
  • Arrange medical appointments and handle emergencies, ensuring client safety at all times.
  • Provide health education and disease prevention strategies to clients.
  • Complete timely documentation as required by company policies and procedures.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
  • Must be willing to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred for FQHC.
Additional Qualifications
  • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements

ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
