Join our dedicated team as a Senior Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Center For Discovery, Ltd., where your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental and emotional wellness of individuals, couples, and families. This full-time, remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a profound impact on the lives of your clients in Visalia, California.

Work Environment

This remote role allows you to maintain flexibility while enjoying collaboration with a passionate team of professionals. While maintaining daily responsibilities from your own space, you will engage in regular virtual team meetings and utilize digital platforms to ensure seamless communication. You will also have access to our outpatient office in Visalia, California, for periodic onsite meetings and client consultations when necessary. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting initial client assessments to determine their specific needs and concerns, laying the groundwork for effective treatment plans.
  • Leading individual and group therapy sessions that address emotional and behavioral issues, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Designing and implementing personalized treatment strategies based on clinical evaluations, client feedback, and ongoing assessments.
  • Meticulously documenting each client interaction and maintaining organized records to track progress, treatment efficacy, and client needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance service delivery, share insights, and participate in case consultations to improve client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and various family dynamics. Your empathy and expertise will guide clients through their challenges and empower them to achieve meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field is required.
  • A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating effective treatment protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to create and adapt treatment plans based on client feedback and progress.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with various populations, including adolescents, adults, and families, ideally in an outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and client management.
  • Background in leading group therapy sessions is a plus, highlighting versatility in therapeutic approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the role and the expertise you bring to the team.
