CEI is a trusted technology partner delivering solutions to help customers transform their business. They are seeking an experienced EDI Application Developer / Analyst to support and enhance healthcare EDI systems in a UNIX/Linux environment.
Responsibilities:
• Support existing EDI front-end and translator systems using ANSI X12/5010 standards.
• Assist with implementation of new EDI solutions and system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot issues within multi-tier distributed applications and databases.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain complex applications.
• Work with business partners and technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Research and resolve customer issues related to EDI processing.
• Perform system testing, debugging, documentation, and post-production support.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members when needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with EDI (ANSI X12/5010)
• Strong UNIX/Linux command-line and shell scripting skills
• Experience troubleshooting multi-tier application environments
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Strong SQL and database integration experience (Oracle or open-source databases)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
• Python
• APIs, LDAP, and authentication technologies
• AWS or cloud platforms
• AI or automated testing experience
• Healthcare or Medicare EDI experience
