Work Environment

This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while ensuring you remain connected with our professional community. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., facilitating a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring each assessment aligns with evidence-based best practices.
  • Develop customized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, taking into account their unique needs, preferences, and goals, and utilize therapeutic modalities such as Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, providing support and resources regarding treatment options and effective self-care strategies.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care for individuals facing complex mental health issues.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a sense of community and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to combat stigmatization and ensure equitable access to care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing relational issues, mood disorders, and families undergoing transitions, such as divorce. Your expertise in navigating complex family dynamics will be invaluable in helping clients find resolutions and fostering healthier relationships. Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

  • A strong sense of empathy, combined with a nonjudgmental attitude, is crucial in understanding clients' unique experiences and struggles.

  • Experience with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Proven track record in family therapy, particularly in divorce and relationship counseling.

  • The annual salary ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
