Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, providing mental health professionals the flexibility to work from their home environment. You will be part of a dynamic team that offers telehealth services, eliminating geographical restraints to provide the best possible care. Our outpatient office model enables you to focus entirely on your clients during sessions, with the benefit of established organizational support to assist in your teletherapy practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings to determine clients’ mental health status and substance abuse history, facilitating data-driven treatment plans.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to diverse client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow treatment team members—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure integrated, holistic care.
• Provide education to clients and their families, empowering them to participate actively in the treatment and recovery process.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Stay current with developments in mental health treatment modalities, continuously integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on adolescents and young adults, who are often navigating transitional life stages and emerging challenges. Clients handled include pre-screened individuals who typically exhibit low acuity needs, allowing you to concentrate on proactive, therapeutic counseling rather than crisis management.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD is required to practice in the state of California.
• Strong experience in providing telehealth therapy, ideally with a focus on working with adolescents and young adults.
• A commitment to participating in ongoing training in your treatment methodologies, particularly in our defined care pathways.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth sessions, including familiarity with Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to establish rapport and convey information effectively.
• A professional demeanor and ability to present oneself in a neat, organized manner during virtual sessions.
• Demonstrated warm and empathetic engagement skills, fostering a nurturing environment for clients.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Experience using telehealth platforms and managing remote counseling sessions effectively.
• Ability to create a private workspace at home to ensure patient confidentiality and comfort.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
