Job description

Description:Automotive Service Advisor – SimplyEuro

Colorado Springs, CO
Salary: $100,000–$150,000

SimplyEuro is a high-performing independent European automotive repair shop built around doing things the right way, taking care of our customers and our people, and holding ourselves to a higher standard.

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Service Advisor to join our team in Colorado Springs.

The Service Advisor is at the heart of our success, connecting our customers, technicians, and business. This is not a passive customer service role. We are looking for someone who knows how to build trust, sell with integrity, manage repair orders from start to finish, and consistently deliver strong results.

You will guide customers through recommended maintenance and repairs based on their vehicle's needs, safety concerns, priorities, and budget. You will work closely with technicians to understand the work being performed, communicate clearly with customers, and keep every repair moving efficiently.

If you are competitive, organized, technically curious, and take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience while producing strong numbers, this is the environment for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Performance: Consistently achieve strong close ratios, average repair order (ARO), customer-pay performance, and gross profit results. Service Advisors are expected to meet performance goals while maintaining strong KPIs including gross profit per hour, ARO, and customer satisfaction (CSI). Minimum ARO expectations are $750 for European vehicles.
  • Customer Experience: Create a strong first impression by warmly welcoming customers, listening carefully to their concerns, and gathering the information needed to understand their vehicle and service needs. Build trust by presenting recommendations clearly and professionally without using high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Repair Order Management: Build accurate estimates that account for labor, parts, materials, and supplies. Present repair recommendations in a way that helps customers understand what is needed, what is recommended, and what can reasonably wait. Document customer approvals and maintain accurate repair orders throughout the service process.
  • Technical Communication: Work closely with technicians to understand diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and vehicle condition. Translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language so customers can make informed decisions about their vehicles.
  • Communication: Maintain frequent, proactive communication with customers throughout the repair process. Provide timely updates regarding repair progress, costs, completion times, additional findings, and any roadblocks that may affect the original plan.
  • Parts & Repair Coordination: Coordinate with technicians and parts personnel to ensure parts are ordered accurately and repairs stay on schedule. Monitor repair progress and proactively address delays, parts issues, or changes to the original estimate.
  • Warranty & Service Contracts: Verify warranty and service contract coverage when applicable and clearly communicate covered services, customer responsibilities, exclusions, and applicable deductibles.
  • Payments & Financing: Accurately calculate customer payments, collect deposits when necessary, process appropriate payment methods, and assist customers with available financing options.
  • Technology & Systems: Become proficient in Tekmetric, POS systems, financing platforms, parts ordering websites, and other technology used to manage repair orders, customer communication, payments, and vehicle status.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate documentation, organized repair orders, and a clean, professional workflow while helping the shop operate efficiently and profitably.
  • Teamwork & Accountability: Work collaboratively with technicians, parts personnel, management, and other team members to keep vehicles moving through the shop and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Any other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and uphold the values of the organization.

Compensation: OTE $100,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience and performance.

At SimplyEuro, high performance is recognized and rewarded. If you're looking for a place where the standards are high, the work is rewarding, and your ability to produce directly impacts your earning potential, we'd like to meet you.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an automotive Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service/customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of European automotive maintenance and repair services.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell repair and maintenance services while building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales, gross profit, ARO, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable communicating technical information to customers in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience with automotive service software; Tekmetric experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using computers, POS systems, financing platforms, and online parts ordering systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional appearance and a customer-first mindset.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the store's policy.
  • Ability to maintain a fast-paced work rhythm for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, grasp, push, pull, and occasionally lift items weighing 50+ pounds as needed to perform the essential functions of the position.
