Shipping & Receiving Clerk

EnSight Solutions - Likwifier Division | Kansas City, MO 

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30

Do you have warehouse, inventory, and shipping experience in a manufacturing environment? EnSight Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to help keep materials moving efficiently through our operations team. If you're organized, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll play a key role in managing incoming and outgoing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process shipments using the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods
  • Create bills of lading and verify shipments against work orders
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure accuracy
  • Sort, package, label, and track inventory and shipments
  • Deliver materials to production teams and designated project locations
  • Investigate shipment discrepancies and track proof of delivery when needed
  • Support warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy efforts
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records within the ERP system
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (as trained)
What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SyteLine preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work effectively with coworkers, customers, and vendors
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and safely perform physical tasks required for shipping and receiving functions
