Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a collaborative team. Our work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some flexibility required for evening or weekend appointments as needed to accommodate clients. Our community health clinic model emphasizes a teamwork approach, where professionals work collaboratively via telehealth platforms and other communication tools to deliver integrated and responsive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that employ evidence-based methodologies.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing cutting-edge therapeutic interventions tailored to a diverse client base.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care strategies that enhance treatment outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain organized and confidential client records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment progress.
  • Participate in regular supervision, professional development, and case conferences to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Health Center, you will primarily work with a varied clientele facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, addiction, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your role will be essential in providing both immediate support and long-term therapeutic solutions designed to improve their well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
  • A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting both individual and group therapy in clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices that align with our treatment philosophy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective collaboration within the team and with clients.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with addiction recovery and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to telehealth practices and remote patient engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support systems for mental health.
Compensation and Benefits
