Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that address client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis management, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.
  • Document all client interactions thoroughly and promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and clinical protocols.
  • Employ evidence-based screening tools to guide treatment and measure progress, collaborating with the clinical team to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate actively in the creation and implementation of positive behavior support plans, tailored to individual circumstances and backed by clinical best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending conferences and workshops, to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
  • Serve as a liaison with various service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.
  • Promote open channels of communication within the organization, aligning efforts with Brightside’s mission to enhance community wellness.
  • Explore and establish partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations to foster collaboration and secure resources that enhance service offerings.
  • Support the accreditation processes by maintaining licensure requirements and adhering to organizational policies.
  • Fulfill additional duties assigned by the Clinic Director that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the mental health services provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. Our focus is on providing compassionate care to empower clients and facilitate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant mental health discipline is required.
  • Possession of an independent LMHC license in Massachusetts or willingness to obtain licensure if currently licensed in another state.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with virtual therapeutic tools and platforms.
  • Prior work in a community mental health setting or related clinical experience.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
