Job description

Position Summary:
The Records Data Specialist reports to the Records Information Manager and works closely with the Senior Records Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, organize, catalog, inventory, and store physical and digital documents.
  • Research data to support retention processes using firm systems and approved tools.
  • Collaborate on firmwide records, risk management projects, and related initiatives.
  • Assist Legal Assistants with file and records closing through Microsoft Teams or in person.
  • Perform routine records functions, including labels, file orders, vendor coordination, off-site storage, Ricoh scanning, and retention or destruction projects.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or five years of progressive records and/or research experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Strong client service and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and move file boxes as needed.
