We are a Growing Nationwide Commercial General Contractor since 1982, licensed in ALL states with our headquarters in Kennesaw, GA. We are seeking a full time highly motivated, disciplined, and organized Traveling Superintendent that is willing to travel anywhere in the United States.

Must be willing to travel across the United States.

We work with large and small clients, giving each the highest level of personalized attention and service. We are currently seeking an Experienced Traveling Commercial Superintendent to join our team that specializes in Construction for Car Rental Clients throughout the United States.

This team specializes in occupied and unoccupied interior and exterior work for Car Rental Clients. Project types vary and include – client reallocations, ground up construction, tenant improvements (many being at airport locations within existing and/or new parking garage structures, site construction, maintenance programs, rebranding programs / roll out programs and under / above ground fuel tanks.

Requirements:

· Full-time, year-round travel anywhere in the U.S.

Jobs can range from 2 weeks to 6 months +

· Valid, current driver's license

· Reliable vehicle – truck or SUV with ability to haul a trailer, if needed, is preferred

· Ability to pass a back-ground check and drug screen

· (2) Client or Manager References: NOT subcontractor references

· Additional (2+) subcontractor or field related references

· Work in fast pace environments and manage various subcontractors concurrently

· Maintain responsibility of all job site and public safety measures

· Maintain quality control

· Communicate and collaborate with entire project team

· Remain professional and punctual at all times

· Excellent verbal communication and inter-personal skills

· Willingness to self-perform and physically assist with what is needed to achieve project deadlines

· Physically fit to enough to change ceiling tile out in an office from a ladder and carry a 5-gallon bucket of drywall mud up 2 flights of stairs without stopping

· Create and maintain project schedules, logistical means and methods, project prioritizing, etc.

· Understanding of and ability to electronically write and submit daily and/or weekly project reports, RFI's, change order requests, etc.

· Track and report all expenses, sending to home office punctually

· Detailed in job site cleanliness, must be neat and organized and follow through on all details

· Ability to overcome obstacles, thinking outside the box to achieve success, not taking "it can't be done" for an answer

Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR and Forklift – if expired, we can discuss renewal upon hire

Preferred Knowledge / Experience:

· 10 + years of Commercial Superintendent experience

· Understanding of MEP scopes, operations, permitting, code requirements, etc.

o Electrical - General knowledge of NEC / OSHA codes with panel / transformer work in the field / understanding of means and methods for different conduit and material types

o Mechanical / Plumbing – understanding of main commercial systems and protocols for a standard office building

· Experience in site work is greatly desired – concrete, grades / slopes, utilities, asphalt, boring / jacking, site electrical, etc.

· Some knowledge of IT / Communications

· Some knowledge of Parking Garage Structures

· Basic knowledge of interior construction – demolition, framing / drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, fire alarm, etc.

· Basic knowledge of interior and exterior rental equipment (forklifts, backhoes, scissor lifts, etc.)

· Experience in Petroleum is a plus
