Job description

Looking for a job with a company that values hard work and a clean, safe environment? Utz Quality Foods is hiring a 1st Shift Janitor to join our logistics team in Gastonia, NC.

In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping our restrooms, offices, and common areas clean and well-maintained during the1st Shiftworking Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to - 3:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and replenish supplies for the office & logistics area restrooms and locker rooms throughout the shift.
  • Fills paper and soap dispensers.
  • Empties garbage cans from various locations within facility
  • Collects recyclable cans, paper and glass.
  • Cleans common areas as needed.
  • Cleans refrigerators as needed.
  • Vacuum rugs throughout facility.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
  • Responsible to report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
  • Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to work independently and meet required deadlines.
  • Able to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Able to bend, stoop, and squat regularly throughout the shift.
  • Able to commit to working weekdays without issue.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the Gastonia, NC location.
