A day in the life:

The Lead Janitorial Matron oversees janitorial and housekeeping operations at a designated facility. This role ensures cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards while providing leadership to a team of matrons. This person will be responsible for supervising daily cleaning tasks, maintaining supply inventory, training staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member
  • Shift leader
  • Restroom cleaning, and disinfecting
  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing of floors
  • Entrance, reception area, and foyer area cleaning
  • Wiping, and disinfecting light switches
  • Kitchen, and lounge area cleaning including sinks,  counter tops, microwaves, toasters, and refrigerators
  • Surface dusting
  • High dusting
  • Sanitizing all lavatory fixtures, sinks, partitions, walls, and etc.
  • Vacuuming all carpet areas in the building
  • Window washing, and blind cleaning
  • Cleaning of light fixtures, baseboards, and etc.
  • Occasionally train new employees
What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member
  • Must have shift leader experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Strong communication skills - must speak English
  • Must be willing to work assigned hours
  • Must be physically able to bend, stoop, climb and reach
  • Must be able to lift, move and use containers of water, cleaning fluids, and germicidal agents
  • Must be able to lift and use wet mop and other janitorial equipment
  • Work outdoors in all changing weather condition in geographical area
  • Standing and/or walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling
