As Blue Yonder continues to evolve the next generation of our Platform User Experience, you will play a key role in shaping the common experience used across our product portfolio. You will work within the Product Management team, part of Blue Yonder's Research and Development organization. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define, deliver, and continuously improve the platform capabilities that enable a seamless, consistent, and intelligent user experience across Blue Yonder applications.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong product ownership, strategic thinking, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences at scale.
What you will do
  • Serve as the domain expert and advocate for the Platform UX experience across the Blue Yonder product portfolio.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Platform UX delivery, partnering with Engineering, UX, Product Management, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer workflows, user needs, business objectives, and the Blue Yonder product ecosystem to help shape the roadmap.
  • Work with Product Management to scope, prioritize, and deliver new platform capabilities based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for development.
  • Partner with Engineering to estimate effort, prioritize work, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog that aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive, consistent, and scalable user experiences.
  • Review designs, provide product feedback, and ensure experiences align with platform standards and the vision of the Chief Design Officer.
  • Ensure Platform UX capabilities effectively meet the business objectives of customers and end users while enabling consistency across Blue Yonder applications.
  • Create and present documented requirements, product proposals, and roadmap updates to stakeholders for alignment and feedback.
  • Demonstrate new functionality to internal teams, stakeholders, and early adopters to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for high-quality user experiences, usability, accessibility, and consistency across the platform.
  • Lead effective Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and acceptance activities.
  • Validate completed work through acceptance testing and ensure deployment readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvements to product development processes, quality, and team collaboration.

Skills

  • Strong working experience in UX design, roadmap, strategy and workflow skills with solid SAAS and enterprise software experience (building platforms, internal tools/services, etc)
  • Strong working experience with Customer / stakeholder proximity ( including product discovery, implementation, or managed internal/external stakeholders)
  • Product ownership: own backlogs, made tradeoffs, ideally dealt with shared services.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills to break down complex ideas into workable items for Product Teams and share the value out for adoptees and customers.
  • Prior exposure to agile methodology, managing scrum teams, and backlog grooming.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Collaborative with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker and team player.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience working on platform products, user experience platforms, shared services, navigation frameworks, portals, or common application infrastructure is a plus.
