Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and substance use history, facilitating the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals experiencing mental health challenges stemming from substance abuse by employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records in line with best practices and regulatory standards to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care and consistent communication regarding client progress.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health and substance abuse resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment options.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and integrate pertinent findings into clinical practices, thereby enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
  • Effectively manage a caseload by setting and meeting treatment goals while upholding the highest ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with individuals grappling with substance abuse disorders and their associated mental health challenges. Our diverse clientele ranges from those seeking their first steps into recovery to individuals with a history of multiple treatment attempts. It is essential to customize therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering an environment where they can feel safe and supported in their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience specifically focused on providing therapy for substance abuse and related mental health issues.
  • Strong familiarity with solution-focused interventions and a commitment to using evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a detox or rehabilitation center setting.
  • Additional certifications in specialized treatment modalities are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
