Job Description:
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a Paid Media Operations Manager to temporarily support the Paid Media team in Irvine, CA. This temporary contractor will report to the Sr. Manager, PMO Growth Marketing, and enable high-impact, industry-leading digital campaigns by driving campaign operations during an upcoming period of increased campaign activity. Responsibilities have a strong emphasis on ensuring creative assets are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with established operational requirements.

NOTE: This is an anticipated 12-month assignment. The candidate will ideally be based in Irvine.
This is a contingent worker position and will be staffed through Volt, a staffing and workforce management company.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for paid media creative operations across global paid marketing, brand, creative, and agency partners
  • Successfully manage end-to-end creative operations for paid media campaigns, including intake, scoping, QA, and delivery of all asset deliverables (e.g., spec sheets, creative briefs, trackers, and final assets)
  • Oversee copy development workflows from intake through approvals, localization handoff, and activation readiness
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on timelines, deliverables, and priorities across concurrent creative workstreams
  • Facilitate timely and actionable creative feedback cycles that drive stakeholder alignment, maintain quality standards, and ensure on-time execution
  • Route all assets and copies through the required approval processes, including legal and ESRB
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of approved assets to regional teams for localization
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts related to timeline or scope changes, and communicate mitigation plans
  • Own and improve paid media operational workflows, implementing scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Support optimization of tools and systems (e.g. trackers, asset repositories, project management systems) to improve operational visibility and rigor

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of recent paid media operations, campaign operations, or creative project management experience required
  • Ability to become productive quickly and contribute effectively in a contract-based role with defined project timelines and deliverables
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage complex workflows and drive deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth team environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong QA instincts
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend work during peak campaign periods

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $30.47 - $56.35 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
