Blaze Health is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused therapy, tailored to meet individual patient needs.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Respond to mental health crises by offering immediate support and intervention, helping to stabilize situations for patients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making and active participation in care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York is required.
• Demonstrable understanding of mental health disorders and experience employing evidence-based practices in therapeutic settings.
• Proven ability to engage with culturally diverse populations and an ongoing commitment to cultural competence in practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and comfort with technology to enhance service delivery and documentation.
• A strong commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining healthy professional boundaries.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Experience delivering therapy in group and family formats, with a focus on culturally responsive interventions.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
