Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world's largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone's Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone's alternative product capabilities to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternative investments.
We leverage the global scale platforms across Private Equity, Secondaries, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Credit, Tactical Opportunities and Hedge Fund Solutions to structure single asset class and multi-asset solutions to fit into clients' asset allocation and portfolio construction objectives. Blackstone manages $250 billion of capital from Private Wealth clients. Product Specialists in Private Wealth play an integral role in providing investment detail to client stakeholders. They cover the entire product lifecycle, from fundraising through investment and return-of-capital. They provide domain knowledge and expertise on investments, performance, market dynamics and competitors. Product Specialists have key internal and external stakeholders, including BX investment teams, Private Wealth sales professionals, various due diligence teams, financial advisors, and end clients.
The Product Specialist will focus on Blackstone's Private Real Estate and Private Infrastructure strategies and products. This includes direct coverage of relevant strategies and providing strategic support to Private Wealth stakeholders executing sales initiatives across global channels. The VP will also oversee junior team members supporting the same functions.
Primary job responsibilities will include:
  • Partner with Real Estate and Infrastructure investment teams and internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies across products and client segments - including content creation, messaging, competitive analysis, and product positioning:
  • Provide ongoing key real-time product, investment and market updates to the sales teams, advisors, end-clients, portfolio managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain high-impact content tailored to Private Wealth channels and business units - including monthly updates and commentary, quarterly fund reviews, investment themes, investment activity and deal updates, and various ad-hoc client requests.
  • Address client and advisor inquiries related to private real estate and private infrastructure products and the underlying markets in which these strategies invest.
  • Attend sales meetings with existing and prospective advisors and end clients in order to communicate portfolio and performance updates as well as market commentary.
  • Work across Private Wealth business functions in supporting product initiatives such as Marketing, Sales, Investor Services, Product Strategy and Business Development
  • Research competitive landscapes across alternative asset classes, strategy types and product structures.
  • Travel for in-person client engagement as needed.

Qualifications:
In addition to a minimum of 7+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, or wealth management, with a focus on real assets (private real estate and/or private infrastructure), as well as strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, the successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of private real estate and private infrastructure markets, investment structures, and performance drivers.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Creative and articulate; effectively understands and conveys complex concepts
  • Demonstrable effective writing skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with markets, securities, investment strategies and the relevant regulatory framework.
  • MBA and/or CFA preferred but not required.

Expected annual base salary range:
$175,000 - $200,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.
