You will play a crucial role in supporting individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to foster healing and empowerment.

About the Organization

At Better Way Behavioral Health, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality mental health care that is accessible and effective. Our mission is to empower clients through personalized therapy that promotes long-term well-being. We value an inclusive and supportive environment where both clients and therapists feel respected and valued. By joining our team, you will become part of a community that advocates for mental health awareness and strives to create meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility for work-life balance, while still maintaining the supportive feel of an outpatient office. Our remote work culture promotes collaboration and communication among team members through regular virtual meetings, training sessions, and community engagements. We are equipped with state-of-the-art telehealth technologies and tools that facilitate seamless interactions with clients, enabling a conducive environment for therapy and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and personalized counseling to clients, addressing a wide range of mental health needs including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams to design and adjust individualized treatment plans, ensuring clients receive the most effective interventions throughout their care journey.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop customized care strategies that include goal-setting and provide clients with relevant post-treatment resources and referrals.
  • Actively participate in community outreach events and workshops to promote mental health awareness and establish strong connections within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds and age groups. We are dedicated to creating an equitable and inclusive space that respects and understands cultural, social, and emotional differences—all critical to effective therapeutic outcomes. Your expertise will guide clients through their mental health journeys, ensuring their unique needs are heard and addressed comprehensively.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • An active independent license in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a necessity.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, showcasing a strong foundation in therapeutic practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications ensure a competent candidate, preferences include prior experience in client-centered therapy approaches, proficiency in telehealth platforms, familiarity with community mental health resources, and the ability to work with diverse populations with varying treatment needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000, based on experience and qualifications. We are committed to supporting our employees’ well-being with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Full medical, dental, and life insurance coverage to ensure your health needs are met.
  • Generous paid time off to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
