Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting designed to promote a balanced and supportive environment conducive to both professional growth and personal well-being. You’ll have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions via telemedicine while also providing in-person appointments at our outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our clinical team by:

  • Conducting individual and joint therapy sessions for couples, families, and individuals, ensuring tailored engagement and effective treatment plans.
  • Addressing a range of complex issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and the challenges of blended families.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to promote communication, resolution of conflicts, and overall family wellness.
  • Collaborating closely with other medical professionals and support staff to provide comprehensive care and follow up on patient progress.
  • Documenting treatment plans and progress notes with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes couples navigating relationship challenges, families dealing with external stressors, and individuals seeking mental health support. Our therapeutic focus encompasses a wide array of issues including job-related stress, physical and psychological abuse, communication barriers, and adjustments to life transitions such as divorce and separation.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active LMFT licensure in the state of Texas.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical standards and fostering a welcoming environment for all patients.
Preferred Experience

While 2 years of clinical experience is required, we especially welcome applications from those with the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in outpatient settings, particularly in family therapy.
  • A demonstrated ability in treating both adult and child/adolescent populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices or willingness to adapt.
Compensation and Benefits
