Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring holistic support for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on geriatric individuals who are facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief from the loss of loved ones, and adjustment issues as they navigate significant life transitions. Understanding the distinctive needs of an aging population and employing evidence-based interventions to foster quality mental health care is crucial. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of four years of recent experience in geriatric counseling and mental health support.
  • Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health and age-related concerns.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering counseling services to seniors, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based interventions used in geriatric mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
