Job description

Plastic extrusion machine operator located in the Everman must be comfortable working in a Non-Climate Controlled facility.

Bilingual is preferred but not necessary.

  • Prior experience operating and setting up machinery in a manufacturing plant required, operating extrusion equipment is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills helpful.
  • Capable of reading and writing in English o A production report must be completed, in writing, throughout the shift. • Ability to read a micrometer & tape measure.
  • Understand /follow instructions on production orders and set-up equipment accordingly. o We will train on the specifics regarding the raw materials.
  • Must possess critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in order to make adjustments to the machinery
  • Must work well with co-workers.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of the product meets customer expectations.
  • Must possess basic computer skills to generate product labels.
  • Must keep area in and around production line clean during shift.
  • Must wear required PPE (Safety glasses & Earplugs)
