We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.

This position is based OCONUS with living quarters in or around Manama, Bahrain.

Field Service Representative - (Bahrain - Sahkir Air Base)

Bring your experience and ideas and help us support Bell's AH-1Z Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Kingdom of Bahrain through the U.S. Government.

Bell requires Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) - Contractor Field Services (CFS) for the purpose of informing, instructing, and training Royal Bahraini Airforce (RBAF)/Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) personnel to be proficient in the installation, operation, and maintenance of AH-1Z aircraft.

What you'll be doing as a Field Service Representative:

         Duties to include providing technical guidance and advice to resolve unusually complex technical problems.

         This position also provides support in the operation and maintenance of the aircraft, to include avionics, airframe, electrical, and drive-train systems.

         The selected candidate must have a strong background in H-1 aircraft Avionics and Mechanical systems.

         This position is based OCONUS with living quarters in or around Manama, Bahrain.

         Employment in this role is contingent upon final U.S. Government approval, funding, and contract award for the associated Foreign Military Sales program. Start dates, duration of assignment, and continuation of the role may be adjusted based on U.S. Government or host-nation requirements.

         This assignment is expected to continue for the period of performance designated under the U.S. Government contract, which may be modified, extended, or concluded based on operational and contractual needs.

         This position involves work in an overseas environment that may be subject to regional security considerations. Bell follows U.S. Government, host-nation, and company security protocols; however, conditions can change and may require adjustments to work location or living arrangements.

         Employment is contingent upon the candidate obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Secret security clearance.

         Living quarters will be provided in accordance with U.S. Government guidance and host-nation requirements. Specific location and accommodation are subject to change based on operational needs or local conditions.

Skills You Bring to This Role:

         High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree or Trade School Certification is preferred.

         6 years of extensive maintenance experience with Bell H-1 (AH-1Z, UH-1Y, AH-1W) military aircraft is required.

         Excellent knowledge of H-1 aircraft systems and military aircraft maintenance procedures is required.

         Required to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.

         This position requires experience and technical expertise with military aircraft product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting with a strong preference in avionics and mechanical systems.

         Full systems Quality Assurance Representative experience is preferred.

         FAA A&P license, FCC General Radio Telephone License or equivalent military experience is preferred.

         Preference for recent active-duty USMC H-1 upgrade experience, specifically Avionics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, Weapons, and Sensors at the organizational/squadron level.

         Personal computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications is required.

         Excellent oral and writing skills are required.
