Work Environment

This role allows for a remote work setting, granting you the flexibility to manage your own workspace while maintaining strong connections with clients and team members. Our outpatient office dynamic ensures a structured yet accommodating environment that fosters professional growth and collaboration. The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a balanced work schedule to enhance both your productivity and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized and group psychotherapy to clients, adhering to established protocols and professional standards.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and crisis interventions to address immediate mental health needs.
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation, including service reports and treatment records, promptly and accurately.
  • Facilitate communication and consultation with institutional staff regarding patient mental health management and progress.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities, including participating in staff meetings, training programs, and program development efforts.
  • Maintain accountability for your services, contributing to the quality improvement initiatives of the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will help empower clients to navigate their personal struggles by providing tailored support and effective therapeutic techniques that emphasize resilience and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold a valid and active independent (LCMHC) license to practice in Vermont.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a clinical counseling or psychotherapy setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, interventions, and assessment tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient clinical settings, with familiarity in telehealth practices.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation and patient management.
  • Training in specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
