  • Design and refine field trial strategies and agronomic protocols to evaluate new glyphosate formulations, mixtures, and enabling technologies (e.g., application technologies, adjuvants, complementary chemistries);
  • Collaborate with field agronomists, Market Development, and trialing teams to implement protocols in field trials and on‑farm evaluations, ensuring data quality, relevance, and efficient use of field capacity;
  • Analyze and interpret field and agronomic trial data on performance (weed spectrum, efficacy, crop selectivity, resistance management value) and provide clear recommendations for portfolio, pipeline, and life‑cycle management decisions;
  • Co‑develop agronomic use patterns and recommendations (e.g., crops, timings, application sequences, tank‑mix positions), in collaboration with Strategy & Portfolio Management, Regulatory, Formulation Science, and regional/country teams;
  • Actively support the development of integrated weed management and crop solutions that position glyphosate within broader systems (other chemistries, traits, and cultural practices), including resistance management guidelines to prolong its usefulness;
  • Work with external service providers, universities, CROs and technology companies to design and execute agronomic testing programs and explore innovative technologies;
  • Support the digitalization of field testing (e.g., imaging, automated data capture, soil and climate data, advanced analytics) together with Field Solutions Technologies, Digital Farming, and other functions;
  • Embrace and demonstrate Bayer’s leadership attributes, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in all agronomic and field‑related activities.
