Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with students in a school environment, addressing diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will empower students by helping them develop coping strategies, enhance their social skills, and improve their academic performance through tailored interventions. Identifying and providing support for at-risk youth is crucial in this role, as you work to create an inclusive environment that addresses all student needs.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of California.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in a school or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with students and educational stakeholders.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, essential for adapting approaches to individual student needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Barkley Counseling, LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
